Israel,as all the developing countries, is Interesting in the field of science and
research..Israel this small country has nine universities and we are going to
talk about some of them....
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem:
A public university Located in Jerusalem was
established in 1925, graduated several prominent figures in the field of
research and other fields, and some of them also won the Nobel Prize. The top
university in Israel, one of the world top 52 universities (16th in
Mathematics, 27th in Computer Science and 44th in Business and Economics),the
second oldest university in Israel. The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is
divided into five campuses: the oldest campus Mount Scopus the home of the
faculty of arts, the faculty of Law and Faculty of social work and Sociology.
Edmond J. Safra, Givat Ram the home of Faculty of Natural Sciences,
Mathematics, Informatics atc.., Ein Kerem the faculty of Medicine and Dental
Medicine, Rehovot the home of the facultyof Agriculture Food and Environment
and the School of Veterinary Medicine .
Technion – Israel Institute of Technology:-
it is
Israel's biggest scientific-technological university and one of
the largest
centers of applied research in the world (in Haifa, Israel). Founded in 1912,
and it is the oldest university in Israel. It’s active in 18 faculties.
Technion is Israel's flagship of world-class enducation-bringing Israel its
first Nobel Prizes in science.
It’s created
and lead the majority of Israel's successful companies, impacting millions of
scientists, students,entrepreneurs and citizens worldwide.
Tel Aviv University (TAU) :

Tel Aviv
University (TAU) is a public university, was established in 1956, located in
Ramat Aviv, Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, Israel. TAU is now Israel's largest and most
overall institutions of higher learning with over 30,000 students studying in 9
faculties and over 125 schools and departments. Its president today is Prof.
Joseph klafter.

The Open University :
The Open University considers as a distance education
university in Israel, it was established in 1974, and its department center
today is located in Ra`anana cit. By 2006, the university had taught nearby
39,000 students divided into more than 50 learning center throughout the
country. Its president is Prof. Hagit Messer-Yaron.
University of Haifa :-
It’s established in
1963 on a carmel moutain by haifa sheriff Abba Hushi and under the joint protection of the hebrew
university of jerusalem, in 1972 it’s became a separate institution for higher
eduction ((the sixth academic institution in israel and the foruth university))
,it’s offer six faculties and five schools, we can said that it’s the link
between academic excellence and social responsibilit.
Bar-llan University:
A public university located in Ramat-Gan,
Israel,
established in 1955.One of the top business
schools in Africa and the Middle East. This
university is divides into eight faculties: law, Exact
Sciences, Life Sciences, Social
Sciences, Humanities, Jewish
Studies, Medicine, EngineeringThere
is almost 26,800 students study in Bar-Ilan University Graduated prominent figures in many
field such as Policy (Tzipi Livni
the Opposition head 2009-2012, Gila Gamliel
member of the Likud Party, Michael
Ben-Ari).
